ABOUT

About OptionProfitCalc

Free, focused calculators for options traders who want clear numbers, not paywalls.

OptionProfitCalc.com is a free options profit calculator suite. Every page is built around one job: show you the profit, loss, breakeven, and risk profile of a specific options strategy in a few seconds, without an account, paywall, or live broker feed required.

Who runs the site

The site is run by Mike, a marketer and options trader who got tired of clunky calculator tools that hid the basics behind signup forms. Mike also runs Financial Tech Wiz, our sister brand covering options, trading psychology, and trading-tech tutorials, and built the Financial Tech Wiz Trading Journal, a journaling tool for retail options traders.

If a calculator here helps you understand a strategy, the deeper write-ups and the journaling tool live over at Financial Tech Wiz.

What you’ll find here

  • Strategy calculators for long calls, long puts, covered calls, cash-secured puts, vertical spreads, iron condors, butterflies, calendars, diagonals, strangles, straddles, jade lizards, ratio spreads, and more.
  • Educational articles on how each strategy works, when to use it, and the math behind the payoff.
  • Free downloads like trade trackers and quick-reference cheat sheets.

Our approach

Every calculator on the Site is built to do one thing well. We don’t sell trades, signals, or “guaranteed” systems. We don’t accept paid placements that compromise editorial content. When we link to a product we use or recommend, including our own Financial Tech Wiz Trading Journal, we say so clearly.

Important: educational only, not financial advice

Options trading carries substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor. Everything published on OptionProfitCalc.com is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Site is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a guarantee of any outcome. Always do your own research and consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions. See our full Terms & Disclaimer for details.
